Abigail is the HR Generalist at Democracy Fund, an independent foundation working to ensure that our political system is able to withstand new challenges and deliver on its promise to the American people. Abby supports the organization by carrying out and strengthening processes related to onboarding, benefits, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Abigail most recently served as a Human Resources Administration Specialist at the Legal Services Corporation, an independent nonprofit organization committed to increasing equal access to justice for low-income people. In this role, she supported and strengthened processes related to hiring, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and employee engagement. She previously served in the Office of Accreditation at the American Psychological Association, where she recruited and coordinated trainings for site visitors contributing to the Health Service Psychology accreditation process.
Abigail is a Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resources Management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
