Lauren is the Senior Director of Partnerships at Democracy Fund, an independent foundation working to ensure that our political system is able to withstand new challenges and deliver on its promise to the American people. As part of the Communications and Network team, she will lead implementation of its emerging Philanthropic Partnerships strategy to bring new resources and leadership to the field.
Lauren joined Democracy Fund in 2019, and has 14 years of progressive experience in partnerships, resource development, and donor strategy. Prior to joining Democracy Fund, Lauren served as the Director of Partner Services at the Democracy Alliance where she managed Partner membership, marshaling resources to investment recommendations, and the membership committee of the Board of Directors.
Additionally, she’s worked for ZERO TO THREE as the Senior Development Manager, where she led foundation fundraising efforts to ensure that all babies and toddlers have a strong start in life. Throughout her career, she has supported her interests in creating a just and inclusive society, by working for organizations like the Kirwan Institute and the Poverty and Race Research Action Council.
Lauren holds a B.A. in political science and women’s studies from the Ohio State University.
