Sarah is the Senior Associate, Program Strategy & Learning for Elections & Institutions at Democracy Fund, an independent foundation working to ensure that our political system is able to withstand new challenges and deliver on its promise to the American people. Sarah supports the Governance team in developing strong programmatic strategy and fostering a culture of learning at both the organizational and programmatic levels.
Prior to joining Democracy Fund, Sarah was a Senior Program Officer at the Open Government Partnership where she managed an international grant program in partnership with the World Bank that supported government and civil society reformers around the world working to increase government transparency, improve accountability, and strengthen citizen engagement. She also previously supported the development of new programming at the National Democratic Institute, an international NGO working to strengthen and safeguard democratic institutions around the world.
Sarah holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the Univerity of Cambridge and a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies from Colgate University.
