Tyneshia E. McCray is a professional Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer at Democracy Fund. With nearly 10 years of experience, she has become a strategic business partner to c-suite level executives by organizing time and productivity management systems. Tyneshia supports the leaders of the organization by staffing critical meetings, writing and tracking minutes, scheduling trainings, event planning/production, invoice and contract management. Her overall goal is to assist executives to elevate, excel and execute on each component of the brand and business. As an administrative professional, Tyneshia values the power of professional development and holds a host of certifications from various administrative professional’s societies.
Tyneshia joined Democracy Fund in April 2018. She brings to the team a wealth of experience in entrepreneurship running a few businesses of her own. Before joining the team, she served as an Account Management Specialist at the Corporate Executive Board (CEB) assisting C-Level Executives, Managers and Directors across different business units and industries. Tyneshia currently works part-time with the Washington Wizards and DC United assisting team owners and season Membership holders.
Tyneshia originally hails from Northeast Washington, D.C. She graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a B.A in English (Non-Teaching) and holds a Master’s Degree in Media Management from Morgan State University.
