Yamila is the Partnerships Coordinator at Democracy Fund, an independent foundation working to ensure that our political system is able to withstand new challenges and deliver on its promise to the American people. She provides administrative and programmatic support by building out and strengthening the team’s processes and systems in order to ensure the team’s cohesion, efficiency, and success.
Before joining Democracy Fund, Yamila worked at the Democratic National Committee supporting the Mobilization Team’s efforts in fundraising and content creation, and developing relationships with grassroots donors. Prior to that, she worked at a tech-education startup, where she worked on various programs including email marketing, social media, customer service, and more.
Yamila graduated from Vanderbilt University with a dual B.S. degree in Human & Organizational Development and Sociology. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, she is also fluent in Spanish.
