The purpose of this grant is to catalyze the support of the New Mexico local news ecosystem in collaboration with local funding partners. The grant will set up a local news and information fund at the Santa Fe Community Foundation — the New Mexico Local News Lab Fund — that will focus on building more healthy news ecosystems as a vital part of just communities and a healthy democracy.
