Why This Work Matters
Our country’s future depends on expanding the number of people who are deeply engaged in shaping their communities, and feel that a better democracy can help them thrive, not just survive.
Whether it’s election administrators who ensure a free, fair, and safe election or parents who advocate for a new stop sign next to the elementary school, our democracy relies on people taking action together.
Our Approach
The work we support helps people use their power to organize with their neighbors, improve their communities, and vote in local, state, and federal elections.
By supporting movements and organizations that help people be heard and included, we can build toward a future where voting, peaceful and lawful protest, and community organizing are regular activities in our daily civic lives.
