Marit is the Executive Assistant, Office of the President at Democracy Fund, an independent foundation working to ensure that our political system is able to withstand new challenges and deliver on its promise to the American people. In her role, she provides overall administrative and project support to the Office of the President by serving as the point of contact for internal and external constituencies, coordinating meetings across the organization, managing the President’s schedule, and project management.
Prior to joining Democracy Fund in 2021, Marit worked at The Raben Group where she provided administrative support to various non-profit and corporate clients. As a Senior Associate, she assisted with coalition building and management, served as a primary point of contact for client interactions, drafted summative reports and memos, and helped clients implement strategic initiatives and programs.
Marit earned her B.A. in Religion from Colgate University where she graduated summa cum laude.
